TRIMDON UNITED JUNIORS SEASON 2008/09

Trimdon United U14 v 21st All Stars 15th April Away.


Always a hard game against a tough tackling stars side but Trimdon are up for it and Sam Noble in particular who knows these lads well is keen to get stuck in.
And so it starts – a hard fought game with some tough and harsh tackling from the stars lads seemingly unnoticed by the ref. But it obvious they have improved over the season and knock a few in this time round. Trimdon work and work but nothing seems to go their way until a great individual run on goal from Josh gets rewarded with another good goal from him. Sam ran himself into the ground without reward and there were good performances from both left and right wingers but we couldn’t improve the score and Stars just about deserved their victory. I’d be counting my fingers and checking my watch is still in place next time I shake hands with that particular ref who gave us nothing.
