Trimdon Man of the Match: Robbie Tinkler for a strong, skilful display from central midfield.

The next twenty minutes saw a string battle between two evenly matched teams with eventual man of the match Robbie Tinkler driving well from midfield and the Trimdon defence battling hard into the face of the driving wind to keep TIBS at bay. TIBS eventually scored a good goal when a cross field ball put in their left winger who finished well.

After the break Trimdon started to play good passing football from the off, using the width of the field well and causing problems for the TIBS defence as they adjusted to playing into the wind.
Robbie Tinkler continued to dominate the midfield and it was his probing through ball which allowed Nathan Hilder to run into the box, shrug off a couple of strong challenges and finish well with his trusty left boot to put Trimdon back in the driving seat.
TIBS again responded well and the match ebbed and flowed from end to end with both teams having chances to add to their goal tally before Jack Austick converted well in the last minute to settle the home teams nerves and allow them to avenge their earlier league defeat at TIBS ground.
Well done to both sets of lads for an excellent game in very windy conditions.
