Sportsmans Dinner, *Postponed until September 2011 - date to confirmed The Green, Trimdon Village. 7pm till Late The club are holding their annual sportsmans dinner at The Green, Trimdon Village. The event is a gentleman only event with tickets priced at £15 per person which includes a pie and pea supper and a talk by local, ex-professional footballer Martin Gray and entertainment by a comedian as well as football memorabilia and raffle.
This is our first try at holding the event locally and support of parents and friends of the club would be gratefully accepted.
Report on Race Night. The recent race night was a great success with circa £350 being raised to support club funds and all who attended having a great night. Thank you to all who came along and donated generously and to John, Ginny and all staff at the Red Lion, Trimdon Village for their hospitality and support.
Trimdon United Juniors FC would like to thank Trimdon Treasures and Martin Gray for their support in securing funds towards the Clubs annual running costs; Trimdon Treasures for their very kind donation of £150 and Martin for his help in running and organising a fastest shot competition in which children were treated to a coaching session with Martin followed by a penalty shoot out type event in which their shot speed was measured. This event secured a further £400 for club funds.
